Artist Bio

Toronto-based artist Damn Drone (stylized as “damn drone”) boasts a unique and versatile discography. His music is curated from distinct, genre-bending sounds that set him apart as a figure to be reckoned with in the emerging underground rap scene.

Drawing inspiration from the beloved genre of R&B while paying homage to more traditional hip-hop elements, Drone’s music strikes a balance between fresh, forward-thinking production and authentic storytelling. With a sound that ranges from energetic expressions to intimate retellings of his lived experiences and vocal performances that span from angelic melodies, clever lyricism, all the way to dynamic, rage-filled, beat-heavy productions.

Recent collaborations with BIGBABYGUCCI highlight damn drone's growing influence and versatility. He was featured on "24," an album created in just 24 hours, executively produced by popular YouTuber and Twitch streamer Patrick Cc:. Previous collaborations between KANKAN and damn drone have garnered over 1,000,000 streams across all major platforms. As well as working alongside other known underground powerhouses like Summrs, Jace! (iayze), Texako, Yung Smiley, and Dom Corleo.

Having had opportunities to perform alongside frontrunners in the underground rap scene, damn drone is no stranger to the stage. He has performed at various shows headlined by Slump6s, Gunnr, Katozai, and Eli Juggz, where his crowd control, stage presence, and ability to entertain a live audience demonstrate his limitless potential as a performing artist.
